Experienced Childcare Professional looking for a job

I am an experienced and compassionate childcare professional with over two years of hands-on experience as a foster carer, supporting children aged 2–13 years old from a wide range of backgrounds and needs. Alongside fostering, I have also worked within a children’s home, where I gained valuable experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including autism and epilepsy. Throughout my experience, I have provided safe, nurturing, and structured environments where children feel supported emotionally, socially, and developmentally. I hold up-to-date Paediatric First Aid certification, including infant first aid, and I am trained in gastrointestinal tube feeding. I have also completed specialist training in trauma-informed care, allowing me to support children who have experienced challenging life circumstances with empathy, patience, and understanding. My background has helped me develop strong skills in behaviour management, emotional support, communication, and building trusting relationships with both children and families. I am passionate about creating positive, caring environments where children feel valued, safe, and empowered to thrive.
