Playful and caring babysitter who loves children

Hello! My name is Maria, and I’m a caring, creative, and attentive babysitter with experience looking after children of different ages. As a teenager, I occasionally babysat young children in my family (ages 2–5) as well as children of our neighbors (ages 5–10). These experiences helped me develop a calm, patient, and adaptable approach, always focused on children’s comfort, safety, and emotional well-being. I have a bubbly, talkative, and funny personality, and I naturally connect with children — they often feel comfortable and drawn to me from our very first meeting. At the same time, I take responsibility seriously and value clear, open communication with parents. I’m a good listener, observant, and respectful of each child’s routine and boundaries. In my free time, I enjoy reading literature, creative writing, arts & crafts, drawing, painting, video games, watching documentaries, and reading psychology and scientific articles. I love engaging children in creative activities, conversations, and imaginative play, while also appreciating calm moments and structure. I strongly believe in lifelong learning, self-discovery, and authenticity as foundations for a healthy and happy life. I am planning to attend a first aid course this spring to further strengthen my skills and preparedness. I speak English only and am very comfortable supporting international and expat families in the Netherlands, as well as local families.
