Hello, My name is Gustaf Lorenius, and I am 19 years old. I am writing to express my interest in the opportunity to work with you. Last spring, I graduated from the Economics Program at Anna Whitlock Upper Secondary School in central Stockholm. Together with my group, I won first prize in the Stockholmsnästet competition for best Junior Achievement company, competing against 3,000 other participants. Stockholmsnästet is organized by the City of Stockholm in collaboration with Junior Achievement, where young entrepreneurs are given the chance to present their business ideas. I work at ICA Maxi, It is one of the biggest grocery store retail companies in Sweden gaining experience in multiple areas of the store. I handle cashier duties, assisting customers with purchases and providing friendly service. I also work in the fruit and vegetables department, ensuring products are fresh and well-presented, and as a shelf stocker, keeping the aisles organized and fully stocked. These tasks strengthen my customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a busy environment. Outside of work, my greatest passion in life is sports, especially football, tennis, and golf. I also truly enjoy developing and being a role model for children in the sports I am involved in. My experience includes being a football coach, tennis coach, football referee, and youth leader at a summer camp. During the summer of 2024/2025, I worked as a youth leader at a children’s camp in Sörmland called Wild Camp for four weeks. We organized and carried out activities such as sailing, climbing, zip-lining, tubing, shooting, adventure courses, outdoor games, hiking, and team-building exercises.
