Lot of cuddles, lot of presence, responsible sitters

Over the last 5+ years, house sitting has become a big part of our lives and one of our favorite ways to travel. We’ve completed 30+ sits and cared for pets in around 15 countries, while traveling through 40+ countries ourselves. Every sit has been unique. Some were short stays of a few days, while others lasted up to two months. Each one brought new friendships, experiences, and amazing pet companions. We’ve taken care of cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, chickens, and some more unusual pets too, including exotic animals like sugar gliders. Every animal has its own personality, routine, and little habits, and we genuinely enjoy getting to know them and adapting to their needs. Since we both work remotely, we spend a lot of time at home, which means pets receive plenty of company, attention, cuddles, playtime, and care. We understand how important routines are and how reassuring it is for owners to know their pets are comfortable and happy while they’re away. One of the nicest things about house sitting has been the people we’ve met along the way. Some homeowners became friends, and we still stay in touch years later. We feel grateful that this experience has brought so many wonderful people and animals into our lives. We also enjoy taking care of plants and gardens and are always happy to help keep a home cared for as if it were our own.
