English/Mandarin Nanny needed -Paris 16th
We are relocating from London to Paris (16th) and are looking for a wonderful live-out nanny for our son, who turns 2 in July.
Please note: Fluent English (or Mandarin) is essential for this role. French (or Arabic) would be a huge plus, though it is not strictly required.
We are looking for someone warm, loving, energetic, and genuinely passionate about young children. The ideal candidate should have experience with toddlers, especially active 2-year-olds, and be able to set loving but firm boundaries.
Beyond excellent childcare, I hope to find someone who can be a calm, kind, and positive role model — encouraging good manners, emotional regulation, confidence, curiosity, independence, kindness, and respectful behavior through daily routines and interactions.
The right person should enjoy reading, singing, creative play, and learning through play, and love taking children out daily to parks, classes, libraries, museums, and activities. Responsibilities will also include preparing healthy toddler meals, supporting developmental milestones, assisting with potty training, and light child-related tidying.
The role is approximately 40 hours per week, live-out, with some travel flexibility to be discussed. Start date is flexible, ideally between late July and September. Competitive pay offered for the right profile and experience. Formal childcare qualifications are a huge plus but not strictly required; warmth, sound judgment, strong values, excellent references, and genuine care for children are most important.
My son is a happy, social, playful little boy raised in a multilingual environment (primarily English and French, plus some Mandarin/Arabic/Farsi). He loves books, music, dancing, Paddington stories, outdoor play, and dogs. He is energetic, affectionate, and well socialized, and I hope to find someone nurturing and stable who can become an important part of his world as we transition from London to Paris.
