Hello pet parents 🤗 My name is Surtarangini. I'm a 22yr old student from India, currently finishing my master's in Indology. I have been dog-sitting for more than a year now, ever since moving abroad. I offer at home dog-sitting and walking services. As someone who has moved abroad to pursue higher studies and terribly misses her dogs at home and all the dogs she cared for in her college days in India, being a pet sitter is not just a job for me, rather a solace to my heart. I see this job as a service to the society I now live in while also getting the chance to earn some extra cash to sustain a comfortable life as a student. I have grown up with many dogs, big and small. From teaching them tricks, to feeding and bathing, even cleaning after them, staying up all night when they are sick and tending to their wounds, I have had quite an experience with dogs. In my late teens I have adopted rescues and street dogs. During my studies in India, I had taken care of many dogs in my University campus. Befriending a dog who was very afraid of humans and watching her get zoomies everytime she saw me, would be my best memory thus far. Given these experiences, I think I would make a great person to leave your dog(s) with. I am sure that I can adapt to the needs of your dog(s) and take good care of them when you need. I only offer at-home services, which include: Walking, Pet sitting at home ( upto twice a day) and House sitting over night. Please note: I unfortunately do not have experience with cats, however I am open to the opportunity. Any specific / extra requirements to suit you and your pet can be discussed as well.
