Maths & science tutor in English, 5+ years' experience

Hello! I'm Victor, a materials engineer doing a Master's at the University of Bordeaux, and I tutor in English. I taught maths, physics, and chemistry to secondary school pupils at Betheland Royal School in Nigeria for more than five years, until I moved to France in 2026. I also taught geography, biology and economics there, and ran tutorials and lab classes for university students. What I enjoy most is thinking a problem through until it makes sense, and watching a pupil get there too, when "I can't do this" turns into "wait, I see it now". I explain each idea step by step with everyday examples, so your child learns the method and can use it alone in the next test. What I teach: - Maths: collège to Terminale, including the Première maths exam, plus IGCSE, A-level and IB - Physics and chemistry: collège to Terminale, IGCSE, A-level, IB - Geography, biology and economics: collège and lycée - English conversation and homework help for all ages Lessons take place at your home in Bordeaux or online; we agree on the times together. I'm punctual, I hold a first aid certificate, and after each lesson I'll tell you honestly how your child is doing and what we'll work on next. Outside my studies, I like debating (I came second in a debate competition during my national service) and 3D modelling. English is my mother tongue, and I'm learning French.
