Experienced, multilingual babysitter

Hello, my name is Lara ! I am 23 years old and I have been babysitting for families since the age of 14. I speak five languages (Dutch, French, English, German and Luxembourgish) and I have babysat for many expat families in France and the Netherlands. Babysitting is a job that has accompanied me throughout many stages of life: from a teenager to my studies and now up to my adult life. Throughout the years, I have taken care of children from the age of 6 months up to 12 years old. I have helped families with after-school pick ups (by bike in the Netherlands), homework, meal preparations, activities (beach, playground, cinema, walks...). I have also done occasional overnight duties when parents were away on a trip. The most important thing for me in this job is to establish a relationship of trust and 'bienveillance' with the families and the children. I understand that children need a reliable and responsible figure in order to feel safe. I always aim to create a warm, nurturing environment where the children feel supported.
